Leadership

FROM THE LEADERSHIP DESK

Mr. Jaipal Reddy

Chairman

“Education has undergone significant changes in recent years, driven by advancements in technology, evolving societal needs, and a shift in educational philosophies. Traditional classroom settings, characterized by in-person lectures and textbooks, are increasingly being complemented or replaced by digital learning tools, online courses, and hybrid learning environments.

Additionally, there’s been a greater focus on fostering critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills, rather than just rote memorization. The concept of lifelong learning has gained prominence, recognizing that education extends beyond formal schooling and continues throughout one’s life. Moreover, there’s a growing emphasis on inclusive education, ensuring that learners with different abilities and backgrounds have equal access to learning opportunities.

The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated many of these shifts, leading to a widespread adoption of remote learning. This period highlighted the importance of digital literacy and equity in access to technology, while also sparking conversations about the future of work and how education must adapt to prepare students for a rapidly changing world.

At the Global Edge School, it is our constant endeavor to keep learning and adapting a dynamic and evolving learning environment, whether it’s the curriculum, teaching strategies, or student engagement.”

Ms. Swathi Jaipal Reddy

Managing Director

“Early in life, when I was caught up in preparing for professional-level exams, I discovered that learning must be driven by the goal of achieving meaningful outcomes. It was at this pivotal moment that everything changed for me. Learning, which had previously been focused solely on marks and results, shifted to learning for true understanding. After that, I found myself breezing through every exam I appeared in. Now, as an educator, I firmly believe that education should be outcome-based. I urge teachers to ensure their teaching is guided by clear learning outcomes rather than just focusing on marks. This is the most important aspect of education. At Global Edge, we are committed to helping all children become independent learners and experience the true joy of learning.”

Ms. Ranjita Rao K

Director Operations

“Each child is a story waiting to unfold – a blend of dreams, abilities, and infinite potential. At The Global Edge Schools, my role as Director of Operations is to ensure that every such story finds the right space to bloom.

Much like in swimming, where each stroke demands focus, rhythm, and perseverance, education too is a journey of steady progress and self-discovery. Through dedicated teachers, dynamic programs, and a nurturing culture, we are shaping individuals who are not just achievers, but kind and mindful human beings.

Together, we continue our journey toward excellence – one student, one teacher, one moment at a time – believing that every effort, big or small, creates ripples that can truly make a difference.”

Ms. Anju Madan

Academic Head

“In a world where information is available at the click of a button, expert advice is sought through AI tools like ChatGPT, and validation often comes from social media, keeping young learners meaningfully engaged in the classroom has become an ever – evolving challenge.

In earlier times, the teacher – the guru – was the storyteller who held students spellbound with wisdom and narrative. Today, attention spans have shortened to the duration of a reel or a TikTok video, demanding a new approach to teaching and learning.

The modern educator must therefore think creatively and innovatively to sustain student interest and participation. Learners, in turn, must take ownership of their learning journey – becoming active participants rather than passive recipients of knowledge.

When teachers and students collaborate in this shared process, they co-create purposeful learning experiences that nurture curiosity, creativity, and competence. This partnership not only cultivates holistic learners but also energizes teachers – together shaping a skilled, adaptable, and forward-looking generation prepared for the world ahead.”
